Climate Resilient Communities Fund

Funded by Northland Regional Council, the Climate Resilient Communities Fund supports projects that help Northland’s most affected communities withstand our changing climate.

Community organisations can apply for funding projects that build resilience in Te Taitokerau. Funding is available for projects that:

  • build capacity and scale-up regional resilience initiatives, raise awareness, and strengthen local connections and participation in action
  • support programmes that drive transformational change for community and tāngata whenua climate resilience
  • take action under one or more of the priority impact areas: Food resilience (Te Kai); Water resilience (Te Wai); Energy resilience (Te Ngao); Nature-based Resilience (Te Taiao).
